Description
A heavy, solid art glass sculpture crafted in the Murano style, depicting a vibrant underwater aquarium scene. The piece utilizes the sommerso technique, featuring a deep cobalt blue lower body that transitions into a clear domed top. Encased within the thick glass layers are numerous lampwork tropical fish in shades of red, orange, yellow, green, and white. These elements are arranged around stylized internal structures representing coral and rock, accompanied by intentional air bubbles to simulate an aquatic environment. The sculpture is designed as a solid glass form reminiscent of a lidded urn or ginger jar. The circular base is ground and polished flat.
