Description
A vintage DeJUR Citation-8 8mm roll film movie camera produced by the DeJUR-Amsco Corporation of Long Island City, New York, circa early 1950s. It is equipped with a rotating triple-lens turret currently mounted with a DeJUR Chromtar 13mm f/1.9 lens, while the remaining two positions are fitted with silver-colored blanking caps. The top of the camera includes a focus adjustment slider for focal lengths of 13mm, 25mm, and 38mm. This lot includes the original tan leather carrying case with gold-tone DeJUR 8 branding and a braided black leather wrist strap with a threaded tripod attachment.

The camera is in good cosmetic condition with light surface wear and minor scuffing to the chrome trim consistent with age. The leatherette covering remains intact. The leather carrying case shows significant wear, characterized by scuffing and loss of finish along the edges, corners, and lid. Untested.
