Description
A pair of mid-century modern art glass bowls in the style of Murano glassmakers. These pieces are crafted from thick-walled, smoky brown translucent glass using the bullicante, or controlled bubble, technique, which features a meticulously arranged pattern of trapped air bubbles throughout the body. The bowls possess a bi-lobal crimped rim and rest on a heavy, clear glass base that has been ground flat and polished. No signatures, maker marks, or labels are visible on either piece.
