Description
A large mid-century modern ceramic planter manufactured by Haeger Potteries in the United States. The earthenware vessel features a flared conical form with a molded spiral relief or swirl pattern on the exterior. It is finished in a matte pink glaze featuring a dark speckled effect throughout both the interior and exterior surfaces. The base of the piece features several incised and molded marks including a molded circular mark in the center, the letters U.S.A. directly below, and the characters 10- near the 9 o’clock position. Faint incised letters for HAEGER are visible curving along the top portion of the base.

Top rim diameter: 10.5 inches.
The item shows signs of age and use consistent with its function as a planter. There are visible small chips and losses to the glaze along the upper rim. The interior exhibits light mineral staining towards the bottom. The base shows typical shelf wear and minor kiln-related imperfections. No structural cracks or repairs are evident.
