Description
This lot features two pieces of colorless pressed glass from the Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) era, dating to the mid-to-late 19th century. The first vessel is decorated in the Princess Feather pattern, also known as Rochester. The second vessel is a celery vase in the Holly pattern, traditionally attributed to the Boston & Sandwich Glass Company. It features a scalloped rim with molded eyelet or thumbprint details. The body is composed of vertical panels decorated with molded holly leaves and berries. The circular foot is decorated with a rayed starburst design on the underside.
Princess Feather vessel height: approximately 8.5 inches
Holly vessel height: approximately 9.75 inches.
Both items are in good antique condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Both pieces exhibit typical mold marks and minor surface wear consistent with age and the manufacturing techniques of the period.
