Description
An assortment of varied antique and vintage household objects comprising metalware, lighting, and advertising. The collection includes a pewter-toned alphabet plate featuring an embossed central scene depicting the nursery rhyme Mary Had a Little Lamb with the full verse text and a border of capital letters. Also present is a large hammered brass or copper scoop of teardrop form and a wall-mount kerosene lamp with a blue-painted tin reservoir and backplate, fitted with a clear glass chimney. The group further includes a conical copper measuring pitcher with a simple strap handle, a light blue enamelware scoop, and a vintage Berry Brothers Liquid Granite varnish tin from Detroit. The varnish tin features a decorative lithographed paper label referencing awards from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. Completing the lot is a silver-plated barrel-form lidded vessel with a turned black wood handle. The underside of the barrel is stamped with a crown logo and text reading F.B. ROGERS SILVER CO., TAUNTON MASS., SILVER ON COPPER, 107, and MADE IN U.S.A.

The enamelware scoop has minor chips to the finish, particularly along the rim.
