Description

This collection of National Hockey League (NHL) trading cards primarily dates from the late 1980s through the mid-1990s. The lot includes a highlight item: a 1993 Donruss Elite Series Jeremy Roenick card featuring a silver foil/holographic border and serrated stamp-style edges, housed in a clear plastic screw-down holder. The bulk of the collection is contained within a black three-ring binder labeled Baseball Card Album in gold-tone lettering. The binder contains multiple plastic nine-pocket storage pages featuring a wide variety of base cards and inserts from major manufacturers of the era. Identified sets include 1989-90 Topps (noted by colorful geometric borders), 1990-91 through 1993-94 Upper Deck, 1992-93 and 1993-94 Fleer Ultra, and Parkhurst. Notable players visible in the collection include Wayne Gretzky (122 Assists Season Leader #2), Sergei Fedorov, Steve Yzerman (including Parkhurst Scoring King inserts), Joe Sakic, Dominik Hasek, Ray Bourque, Brett Hull, Luc Robitaille, Mats Sundin, Brian Leetch, and Mike Richter. A significant concentration of cards features the Detroit Red Wings franchise.

Binder: 12 inches wide

The Jeremy Roenick Elite Series card is ungraded and remains in a non-professional screw-down holder; the card appears to be in Near Mint condition with good centering, while the holder exhibits surface scuffing. The cards within the binder are generally in Near Mint to Lightly Played condition, protected by plastic sleeves. Minor corner touches and varied centering are present, consistent with mass-produced cards of this era. The binder shows visible exterior wear, scuffing, and dust accumulation from age and storage.
