Description
A collection of four pieces of green uranium glass handled cups manufactured by the Federal Glass Company, and one stemmed cocktail glass. The items are crafted from transparent green glass that exhibits a bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. The cups are designed with a wide-paneled optic rib pattern and feature single curved handles. The cocktail glass has a conical bowl, a waisted stem with a central bulbous knop, and a circular foot. The base of the cups is embossed with the Federal Glass Company maker mark, a capital F inside a shield.
Cups: 3.75 inches in diameter, 2 inches in height
Cocktail Glass: 4.25 inches in height.
The collection is in good vintage condition overall. There is a small flea-bite chip visible on the rim of the cocktail glass. The cups show minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and use. No cracks or major chips are present on the cups.
