Description
This assortment contains various decorative ceramic vessels and studio pottery pieces. The group includes a matte blue-green stoneware vase with a bulbous body and flared rim, featuring a central unglazed band and an incised butterfly mark on the base. A speckled tan stoneware jar is decorated with brown slip-trailed swirls and features an incised multi-lobed mark. A matte tan earthenware pot is decorated with a black painted band and a stylized horned animal motif. An hourglass-shaped stoneware vase with a high-gloss mottled black and brown glaze is hand-signed Scott 2005 on the underside. A waisted stoneware vase is finished in a teal and dark brown textured volcanic glaze. A striped long-neck bud vase with a speckled cream ground features dark brown and black horizontal bands and retains a gold foil Otagiri
Mercantile Company (OMC) Japan label on the base.
