Description
This lot features a portfolio titled Great Masterpieces of Art, containing thirty-five full-color lithographic reproductions of works by significant historical and modern artists. Published in 1973 by Shorewood Reproductions, Inc., New York, the collection includes works after artists such as Henri Matisse, Henri Rousseau, Marc Chagall, Sandro Botticelli, Vincent van Gogh, and Claude Monet. These are commercial offset lithographic prints and do not bear original hand-signatures or edition numbers; artist signatures are present only where they appear in the original source paintings.
