Description
This handcrafted metal wall hanging features the vintage branding and mascot of the Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball team. The sign is constructed of multiple layers of cut metal welded together to create a three-dimensional effect. The base consists of a circular disc with a textured blue finish. Affixed to the front are raised metal components including the Chief Wahoo mascot in red and white paint and the team name Indians in a red script font. The bottom of the sign features the word CLEVELAND in white block lettering. The piece exhibits visible weld marks around the perimeter of the base and between the decorative layers. A metal hanging chain is attached to the side. The reverse features a small metal tag welded to the surface with an incised numeral 7.

The front surface shows minor wear, small areas of paint loss, and dark marks near the weld sites. The reverse side of the sign exhibits heavy surface oxidation and rust across the entire metal surface.
