A modern color woodblock print titled Warrior Kajiwara Kagesue, designed by artist Sadanobu Hasegawa III and published by the Uchida Art Co., Ltd. of Kyoto. The work illustrates the legendary samurai Kajiwara Kagesue mounted on the black horse Surusumi during the 1184 Battle of Uji River.
Overall frame dimensions: 20.5 x 14.5 inches.
The artwork is in very good condition with vibrant, well-preserved colors. There are no visible signs of foxing, staining, or fading. The frame and matting are in good condition with minor surface wear to the frame edges consistent with age and handling.
