Description
This ceramic lidded box is part of the Fitz and Floyd Essentials collection in the Witch Hazel pattern, produced circa 2003. The piece is designed as a spherical, orange-glazed jack-o-lantern featuring a molded smiling face on the front and three black bat motifs on the sides and reverse. The item is constructed from earthenware with a high-gloss glaze and hand-painted details. The underside of the base is marked with a black backstamp that reads FITZ AND FLOYD ESSENTIALS Witch Hazel FF . The original retail cardboard box is included, bearing the copyright date 2003 Fitz and Floyd, Inc. and the item identification WITCH HAZEL LIDDED BOX 2063/308. Dimensions: 6.5 inches height by 6 inches diameter. The item is in good condition overall. Fine, age-related crazing is visible in the glaze on both the lid and the base.
