Description
This vintage costume jewelry set by Avon, from the 1974 Florentine Flowers collection, consists of a pendant necklace and matching convertible pierced earrings. The oval pendant features a colorful floral design on a black ground, showcasing a central pink rose accompanied by blue, yellow, and white blossoms with green leaves. The decorative panel is housed in a gold-toned metal frame with a textured border and is suspended from a gold-toned curb-link chain. The matching earrings are designed with removable oval floral drops, which allows the gold-toned, textured button posts to be worn separately. The back of the pendant is stamped with the maker mark AVON and a copyright symbol. The set is accompanied by its original cream-colored presentation boxes and an instructional insert for the earrings. The packaging identifies the collection and is dated 1974.
