Description
This four-piece costume jewelry set is the Burnished Roses Collection by Avon, dated 1975. The set is constructed from gold-tone base metal with a textured finish and reddish-brown burnished accents in the centers of the rose blossoms. The set includes a convertible necklace/brooch, a link bracelet, a ring, and a pair of stud earrings. The pendant on the necklace functions as a brooch when detached from the chain. The link bracelet features six rose blossoms connected by leaf-shaped links and secures with a fold-over clasp. The ring features a single rose head with leaves on the shoulders. The stud earrings are designed as single rose blossoms with surgical steel posts. All pieces are housed in their original white cardboard boxes labeled Avon Fashion Accents. The ring is marked AVON and includes a copyright symbol on the inner band. The reverse of the brooch/pendant also bears the AVON mark.
