Description
A collection of nine vintage Avon costume jewelry sets and novelty pins, dated between 1972 and 1994. Most items are presented in their original blue and white boxes. The collection consists of a Frisky Kitty Pin (1974) featuring a gold-tone cat motif with blue rhinestone eyes and a movable dangling bell; a Gilded Apple Pin (1974) in textured gold-tone metal; a Bumble Bee Pin (1975) showing a detailed textured bee; a Nest Egg Pin (1975) tie-tac style piece with a gold-tone chick hatching from a silver-tone shell; and a Midas Mouse Pin (1974) with a gold-tone head, blue rhinestone eyes, and a dangling clear rhinestone tail. Earring sets include Bamboo Magic (1972) gold-tone textured clip hoops; Rosegay (1974) antiqued silver-tone floral clips with pink rhinestones and faux pearls; Dear Heart (1974) pierced dangles with faceted pink heart stones, faux pearls, and 14 karat white gold posts; and Roman Holiday (1994) black onyx sphere studs with surgical steel posts. All pieces are stamped Avon with a copyright symbol on the reverse.

Overall very good vintage condition. Most pieces appear to have been stored in their original packaging and show minimal signs of wear. All stones and faux pearls appear present and intact. Boxes exhibit light age-related tanning, minor staining, and shelf wear consistent with age.
