Description
A decorative hinged trinket box in the form of an upright kangaroo with a joey emerging from its pouch. The figurine is constructed from cast metal with an iridescent grey-green enamel finish. The muzzle, inner ears, and paws are detailed with pink enamel. The piece is embellished with inset red stones for eyes and rows of blue stones arranged in a harness-like pattern over the back and down the length of the tail. The interior is finished with a solid yellow enamel, and the underside of the feet and tail features a textured, gold-toned surface. No manufacturer marks are visible on the item. It is accompanied by a red cardboard presentation box with a yellow satin-style lining.
