Description
This is a vintage Zenith Trans-Oceanic portable multi-band vacuum tube radio, specifically identified as Model H500. An internal paper label on the cabinet wall provides technical details: Chassis 5H40, 117 AC/DC, Battery Z985, and the Zenith Long Distance Radio logo. The label also includes a tube layout diagram for tubes 1U4, 1L6, 1U5, 3V4, and 1U4. The upper interior frame is stamped with Model H500. The speaker is stamped with Zenith part numbers 49CZ668 and 343121.
