Description
A pair of vintage Pyrex nesting mixing bowls in the Early American pattern. This pattern, introduced in 1962, is featured on white opal glass with a fired-on warm brown exterior finish and gold-tone decorative decals.
The base of the smaller bowl is embossed with: 442 1-1/2 QT. TRADE MARK 16 PYREX (R) MADE IN U.S.A. OVENWARE.
The base of the larger bowl is embossed with: 444 4 QT. TRADE MARK 8 PYREX (R) MADE IN U.S.A. OVENWARE.
Capacity: 1.5 Quarts (Model 442)
Capacity: 4 Quarts (Model 444).
Both bowls are in good vintage condition. There is minor paint loss and light surface scratching visible on the brown exterior finish and gold-tone decals. The white interior of the 4-quart bowl shows light utensil scuffing from use. No chips, cracks, or flea bites are observed.
