Description
This is a signed first edition, first printing of George Takei’s autobiography, subtitled Star Trek’s Mr. Sulu. Published by Pocket Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, New York, in October 1994. The volume is an octavo, bound in blue boards with a pictorial dust jacket. The title page bears a handwritten inscription and signature in black ink that reads: Merry Christmas / Eric. / George Takei. The copyright page confirms the first printing with the statement First Pocket Books hardcover printing October 1994 and a complete descending number line 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. The interior contains several pages of black and white photographic plates as noted on the credits page.
The book is in very good condition with a crisp, tight binding and clean internal pages throughout. The dust jacket is also in very good condition, exhibiting minor shelf wear, including light rubbing and minor curling at the top and bottom edges of the spine.
