Description
A vintage B-flat soprano clarinet manufactured under the Normandy brand, a line of the G. Leblanc Corporation. The instrument features a dark-finished body, likely of wood-composite or Resonite material, characteristic of the Normandy student and intermediate series. The keys and rings are nickel or silver-plated. The clarinet is comprised of five main sections: mouthpiece with ligature, barrel, upper joint, lower joint, and bell. Visible markings include an incised shield logo on both the bell and the lower joint containing the word Normandy above the text Made in USA. The included mouthpiece is marked Selmer Goldentone 3.
The set includes several accessories: a green plastic La Voz Reedgard case, two Vandoren France Superieure wooden reeds of strength 2, and a Herco chamois cleaning swab housed in its original clear plastic container. The instrument is presented in its original hard-shell carrying case, which features a textured black exterior and a blue plush-lined interior.
