Description
A vintage Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) doll manufactured by the Reliable Toy Company of Canada. The doll features a composition head and hands with a stuffed cloth body. The head has molded and painted brown hair and painted brown eyes. The doll is dressed in an original period-appropriate RCMP uniform including a red cotton tunic with yellow embroidered R.C.M.P. shoulder patches, blue breeches with yellow felt side stripes, a tan felt Stetson-style campaign hat with a brown band, and brown lace-up boots. Accessories include a black Sam Browne-style belt with a holster containing a small green plastic toy pistol. The back of the neck is incised with the mark RELIABLE MADE IN CANADA. Display stand is NOT included.

The doll is in good vintage condition. The composition head exhibits light surface crazing and minor soiling consistent with age. Painted facial features remain clear and vibrant. The clothing shows typical age-related wear and minor fading, with light pilling noted on the yellow trouser stripes. The felt hat is misshapen and has visible fraying along the brim.
