Description
Authentic Skookum Bully Good Indian doll featuring a composition head and a wooden dowel body construction with taped and painted wooden feet. The head displays hand-painted facial features with signature side-glancing eyes. A black fiber wig is adorned with a red feather in the back. The doll is dressed in its original wool blanket with a green, red, and blue geometric pattern, a tan fabric shirt, and red felt leggings with yellow trim. Accessories include a multi-colored bead necklace and a miniature birch bark and wicker cradleboard papoose containing a small cloth baby doll. The bottom of the right foot retains its original orange paper label marked: TRADE MARK REGISTERED / SKOOKUM / (BULLY GOOD) / INDIAN / U.S.A. / PATENTED.
