Description
This set of silver-plated flatware is produced by Wm. A. Rogers, a brand of Oneida Ltd., in the Art Deco Inspiration pattern introduced in 1933. The pattern features a geometric design with stepped, tiered ends and vertical linear detailing on the handles. The collection consists of 8 dinner knives with stainless steel blades, 8 dinner forks, 8 pierced grille forks, 16 teaspoons, 8 soup spoons, and two serving pieces including a master butter knife and sugar spoon. Each piece is marked on the reverse WM. A. ROGERS, OVERLAID, signifying extra reinforcement of the silver plating at primary wear points. The set is presented in a tan textured faux-leather case lined with red felt and satin. The interior of the case features a silver-tone label reading ANTI-TARNISH SILVERWARE CONTAINER

The flatware shows moderate to heavy tarnish throughout, consistent with age and long-term storage, and would benefit from professional polishing. No monograms are present on the handles.
