Description
An assortment of vintage pipe smoking equipment featuring briar and corn cob pipes. Manufacturers identified through visible markings include Medico with a Medalist Imported Briar model and Dr. Grabow with a De Luxe model. Corn cob pipes are branded Missouri Meerschaum, manufactured in Washington, Missouri. The pipes are displayed on a wooden rack featuring two tiers with circular cutouts for stems and recessed wells for bowls, supported by brass-toned metal rods. The lot includes a Willoughby Taylor pipe mixture tin manufactured by the Bloch Bros. Tobacco Co. of Wheeling, West Virginia, which retains its original metal opening key on the base. Also present is a vintage Dr. Grabow Pre-Smoked Pipe cardboard box containing Biltmore branded wrapping paper. A metal Cook’s Pipe Reamer, produced in Ansonia, Connecticut, is included for maintenance.
