Description
This Portmeirion ceramic storage canister is decorated in the Botanic Garden pattern, which was designed by Susan Williams-Ellis. The cylindrical jar is made of fine earthenware and features a multi-colored transfer-printed botanical illustration of the Amaryllis Reginae, identified on the body as the Mexican Lily. The canister is fitted with a flat, light-colored wooden lid.
Height: approximately 8 inches.
The ceramic canister is in good condition with no chips, cracks, or visible crazing. The interior appears clean and well-maintained. There is minor darkening from shelf wear on the unglazed foot rim at the base. The wooden lid is structurally sound and retains its airtight seal, though it exhibits light surface wear and a small, darkened circular stain on the top.
