Description
This etching by the Russian artist Leonid Stroganov is titled in Cyrillic Барочная птичка (Barochnaya ptichka), translated as Bird in Style of the Baroque. The work displays fine, acid-bitten lines and rich black ink coverage, with a clearly defined plate mark visible in the margins. The print is on cream-colored paper and is signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right margin in Cyrillic. The title and date are inscribed in pencil in the lower left margin, and the center margin is inscribed with the edition number 15/100 and the plate dimensions 11.5 x 16. It is presented in an off-white mat and housed in a modern black metal frame. A gallery label on the reverse side of the frame provides the English title, artist name, and dimensions in inches.

The etching is in very good condition with no visible foxing, toning, or damage to the paper. The ink remains dark and well-defined. The mat and frame are in good order. This work has not been examined out of the frame.
