Description
This Lalique frosted glass bowl features the Martinique pattern, characterized by its detailed relief decoration of tropical palm trees. The circular bowl is constructed from clear glass with a predominantly frosted satin finish. A continuous relief motif wraps around the exterior, depicting palm fronds and trunks set against a textured background suggesting a tropical landscape. The rim is smooth and polished. The underside of the base features an etched signature in script reading Lalique, France, identifying the piece as an authentic production from the latter half of the 20th century. While the design shares visual characteristics with the Palm pattern produced by Josef Inwald for Barolac, the signature and finish are consistent with Lalique production.

The bowl is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant abrasions to the frosted surface. Minor shelf wear is present on the underside of the base, consistent with age and use.
