This softcover reference book is an unabridged and unaltered republication of the Catalogue des Verreries de René Lalique originally published in Paris in March 1932. Published by Dover Publications, Inc., in association with The Corning Museum of Glass, this quarto-sized volume contains a translation of Gabriel Mourey’s introduction by Stanley Appelbaum and an introduction by John Martin. The work serves as a comprehensive visual record of Lalique’s production during the Art Deco period, featuring 122 black-and-white plates that illustrate over 1,500 objects including vases, bowls, jewelry, perfume bottles, clocks, and architectural elements. Each object is identified by its design number and original measurements. The publication includes the original 1932 French franc price list for clear or colored glass. The front cover features a color-illustrated design by Paul E. Kennedy, and the rear cover contains descriptive bibliographic information and the ISBN 0-486-24122-X.
