Description
This is an Eastman Kodak Company Premoette Jr. No. 1A folding roll film camera, dating from the mid-1910s. Inscriptions on the shutter include TB 25 50 100, KODAK BALL BEARING SHUTTER, PATD JAN 18 1910, and EASTMAN KODAK CO. ROCHESTER N.Y. U.S.A. The top metal plate is stamped U.S.A. PAT. NOV 10-03. The rear of the camera features an autographic door for recording data on film, though the stylus is not present. A black leather carrying strap is included, bearing the embossed name KODAK.

Fair condition. The leatherette covering shows expected shelf wear, scuffing, and minor peeling at the edges. The nickel-plated metal hardware, including the bed and struts, exhibits significant pitting and oxidation. The bellows appear structurally intact but are dusty and show wear at the corners; light-tightness has not been tested. The lens and reversible viewfinder show internal dust and haze consistent with age. Untested.
