Description
This is a pair of porcelain wall plaques featuring shield-shaped forms with scalloped edges and gold-gilt borders. The plaque with the rose is signed A. GRAMBO in black script on the front near the base of the stem. Both plaques bear the handwritten signature A GRAMBO in black ink on the unglazed foot rim on the reverse. No manufacturer or factory backstamps are visible on either piece. The reverse of the rose plaque is fitted with a twisted metal wire for hanging, and the wildflower plaque is fitted with a red cord.

The plaques are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor wear to the gold gilding is present along the scalloped edges consistent with age and handling.
