Description

This 18-piece dinnerware set is manufactured by Fire-King in the Jane Ray pattern, dating to the mid-20th century. The collection is made of opaque sea-green glass, commonly referred to as Jadeite, and features a characteristic border of fine vertical ribbing. The set comprises an assortment of oval platters, dinner plates, luncheon plates, and cereal bowls. The underside of several pieces features an embossed mark with Fire-King in script above the block letters OVEN GLASS. The glass exhibits characteristic manufacturing traits of mid-century Jadeite, including internal swirl patterns and slight variations in opacity.

Oval platters: 12 inches length
Dinner plates: 9 inches diameter
Luncheon plates: 7.75 inches diameter
Cereal bowls: 6 inches diameter.

The set is in good vintage condition overall with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface wear and light shelf grime are present, consistent with age and use. Typical manufacturing artifacts, such as internal glass swirls and minor variations in color saturation, are present as is standard for this type of glassware.
