Description

This collection features several varied ceramic vessels representing both production art pottery and independent studio work. Included is a small Frankoma Pottery pitcher or ewer, mold number 338, featuring a two-tone matte glaze transitioning from cream at the top to tan at the base over a reddish earthenware clay body. The piece is marked with an impressed Frankoma stamp and the mold number on the bottom. Also included is a squat, bulbous lidded stoneware jar with an amber and dark brown glaze, hand-signed Red Duck on the base with additional handwritten notations 9 over 15-1.

Heights range from approximately 3.5 inches to 5.25 inches.

All items are in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are observed upon visual inspection. The blue pitcher displays intentional glaze crawling on the rim as a decorative feature. The bud vase exhibits minor pinholing and glaze pops consistent with the studio firing process. The Frankoma and Red Duck pieces show minimal surface wear consistent with age and display.
