Description
This mixed Print on woven paper, titled The Honey Suckers, is by American artist Philip Evergood. The composition is rendered with expressive charcoal or black chalk lines and vibrant watercolor washes, depicting two stylized female figures alongside a large floral arrangement in a blue vase. The artist signed the work Philip Evergood and dated it 1966 in dark ink in the lower right corner.
Measures 27 x 23 inches.
The work is in fair condition with visible age-related wear. The paper shows overall toning and scattered spots of brown foxing and staining, which are most prominent along the lower margin. There is a small crease in the upper left corner. The sheet is currently unframed.
