Description
This Japanese decorative metal vase features a tapered body with a matte gold-toned surface finish and a contrasting silver-toned rim. The decoration is executed in a mixed-metal relief style known as takazogan, utilizing silver-colored, gold-colored, and dark patinated tones for detail. The base of the vase contains a recessed rectangular area that currently holds adhesive residue, with no legible maker’s marks or signatures visible.

The vase is in good condition with minor signs of age and handling. The silver-toned rim shows light surface oxidation and wear to the polish. The base has residue in the center from a former label.
