Description
This lot consists of a mold-pressed carnival glass compote featuring a bowl with a marigold iridescence. The finish displays gold and peach tones with subtle purple and pink highlights. The bowl is designed with a hand-ruffled, six-point crimped rim and an interior pattern of wide vertical ribs or flutes radiating from the center. This bowl is joined to a clear glass stem and circular foot. The piece lacks any visible maker marks, signatures, or backstamps.

A significant straight crack is present in the clear glass foot, extending from the stem to the outer edge of the base. Several small internal air bubbles, or seeds, are visible within the glass from the manufacturing process. The underside of the base shows light surface shelf wear and scratching consistent with age. No other chips or repairs are noted.
