Description
This lot contains two examples of American decorative pressed glass from the mid-20th century. The first item is an olive green bowl manufactured by the Imperial Glass Corporation in the Lace Edge pattern, also known as Crocheted Crystal. The body features a diamond quilted texture below a wide, openwork geometric rim. The interior center of the base is embossed with the Imperial IG maker mark. The second item is a cobalt blue footed bowl in a hobnail pattern featuring a scalloped rim and a multi-lobed footed base. This piece is attributed to Fenton Art Glass, consistent with the manufacturer’s established production of this specific color and pattern. Both vessels are constructed of heavy, translucent pressed glass.
