Description
This collection consists of three mid-century modern clear glass vases featuring hand-painted enameled and gilt decorations. The first vase is a footed cylindrical vessel decorated with two rows of heart-shaped leaves in pink enamel and gold-toned gilt, accented with gold-line skeletal veins and a broad gold rim. The second vase is a cylindrical form with a flared rim, featuring sweeping feather or palm frond motifs in vibrant blue and gold-toned enamel, interspersed with butterfly accents and small dots. The third and tallest vase features a ribbed neck and base with turquoise floral sprigs, gold-toned centers, and sweeping brown and gold line work. All vessels are crafted from clear glass with surface-applied decorations. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible.
Tallest vase: 9.25 inches
Footed leaf vase: 8.75 inches
Blue feather vase: 7.75 inches.
The vases are in good vintage condition. The clear glass retains its clarity with no observed chips, cracks, or repairs. The hand-painted enamel and gilt decorations are largely intact, although the gold-toned leaves on the footed vase show minor mottling and light surface wear consistent with age and use. Minimal shelf wear is present on the undersides of the bases.
