Description
A collection of various collectible dolls including porcelain, vinyl, and hard plastic examples. The group features a Marie Osmond collector doll with a vinyl head, hands, and feet on a weighted cloth body, dressed in a holiday-themed red and green dress with holly accents and striped leggings, with the neck incised Marie Osmond Dolls. An 18-inch vinyl fashion doll marked Ideal Doll VT-18 is included, featuring strawberry blonde rooted hair and blue sleep eyes with lashes. The collection also contains a 1997 V.E. Turner vinyl baby doll with blue sleep eyes and a brown synthetic wig, and a Berenguer Missy Kissy electronic baby doll marked 53-05 Berenguer on the neck with an on/off/demo switch and battery compartment on the back. A boxed Hebridean Croft Girl souvenir doll by Mairi Fraser is present, hand-dressed in Scotland and retaining a price tag from the Tartan and Tweed Shop. Additional items include two larger vinyl baby dolls with molded hair and sleep eyes, one marked 20-7 and dressed in a blue knit sweater and corduroy pants, a boxed Christina Collection Timeless Treasures porcelain doll, and a porcelain doll in a mahogany-toned display case with an extra dress.
Sizes range from approximately 8 inches to 18 inches in height.
Overall good condition with light surface dust and minor play wear consistent with age. The Ideal fashion doll is partially dressed in satin undergarments. The original box for the Hebridean Croft Girl shows shelf wear, including crushing and scuffs. The electronic functions of the Berenguer doll are untested. Porcelain components appear free of chips or cracks.
