Description
This collection consists of 12 modern bisque porcelain collector dolls. Each doll is constructed with a bisque porcelain head, hands, and lower legs on a stuffed cloth body, featuring stationary inset glass or acrylic eyes and synthetic wigs. The assortment includes a variety of characters in period-style costumes with lace, ribbons, and velvet-like accents. Notable attributions include one doll in a gold lace gown with a handwritten signature for Patricia Rose on the reverse of the neck, numbered 0591/1500. A second doll in a tiered tan and brown dress features a Treasures Forever stamp and is numbered 150/1000. The collection includes a large doll in a blue lace dress, a grandmother doll with grey hair and spectacles, and others with accessories such as bonnets, a straw hat, and a parasol. One doll is housed in its original, worn manufacturer box, and one retains a paper hang tag.
