Description

This collection of twelve porcelain bisque collector dolls dates from the late 20th century. The dolls feature porcelain heads, lower arms, and lower legs mounted on stuffed cloth bodies. Identification is confirmed by original manufacturer hang tags for Duck House Heirloom Dolls and Classical Treasures. Remaining dolls are attributed to makers such as Seymour Mann based on visual consensus for dolls of this period and style. The dolls feature fixed acrylic or glass eyes in shades of blue, green, and brown, paired with synthetic fiber wigs in blonde, auburn, and brunette. They are dressed in original, detailed period-style costumes constructed from synthetic satin, lace, cotton prints, and ribbons. Accessories include elaborate hats, hair ribbons, jewelry, and a small plush teddy bear. Most dolls are presented on circular metal display stands.

Height: 12 to 20 inches.

Overall good condition. The collection appears to have been used for display purposes. Minor shelf wear to fabrics and some mussed hair consistent with age and storage.
