Description
This minimalist ink drawing on toned paper depicts a gestural, abstracted female figure. Based on a typed identification label attached to the verso, the work is attributed to the Russian artist Anatoli Zverev (Russian, 1931-1986) dated circa 1958.

The paper shows overall toning and minor handling creases consistent with age. The silver-toned frame exhibits significant wear, including surface losses and scuffing along the edges and sides, revealing a reddish-pink undercoat.
