Description
This large, shallow rectangular stoneware platter is the work of studio potter John Freimarck. The unglazed, buff-colored base features a large, centrally incised maker mark consisting of a single loop intersected by a long diagonal line, identifying the artist.

Height: 1.75 inches.
The platter is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. There are minor firing imperfections and speckling consistent with the nature of handmade studio stoneware. The unglazed foot shows typical light scuffing from contact with surfaces.
