Description
This collection consists of antique black and white prints produced through steel engraving, photogravure, and lithography. The subject matter reflects 19th-century artistic tastes, including European landscapes, historical tableaux, mythological scenes, and genre paintings. Visible titles and artist attributions include Oedipus after Jean-Leon Gerome, The Pope and the Inquisitor after Jean-Paul Laurens, The Maid of Orleans after E.M.
