Description
This hand-carved wood relief panel depicts a divine Hindu couple standing beneath a stylized foliage canopy, possibly representing a sacred tree. On the reverse, a partially preserved paper label is visible with the printed text MADE IN INDIA and SMALL. The back is fitted with two eye-screws and a hanging wire for display.

The panel is in good condition consistent with age and material. There are several prominent vertical drying cracks, also known as checking, visible on both the face and the reverse of the wood block. Minor chipping and losses are present, specifically at the bottom right corner of the base. The surface displays a dark, uniform patina. The paper label on the reverse is torn and incomplete.
