Description
This is a pair of hand-carved hardwood architectural salvage panels featuring high-relief figural carvings in the Renaissance Revival style. The wood exhibits a dark, aged patina. The reverse of each panel retains remnants of a rectangular paper label with a decorative border, though the center text is missing.

The pieces show signs of age and prior use. There are visible chips and losses to carved elements, most notably to the nose of one figure and the edges of the headdresses. The wood displays natural age-related checking and scattered small holes consistent with inactive insect activity.
