Description
The set includes a large batter bowl with a D-style handle and a pouring spout, marked on the base with the script Oven Fire-King Ware signature by Anchor Hocking. Also included is a 2-cup measuring pitcher with a handle and embossed measurement gradations on the exterior. Completing the group are three tab-handled measuring cups in graduated sizes, marked on the base with the MCK circle logo for the McKee Glass Company. Under ultraviolet light, four of the five pieces—the 2-cup measuring pitcher and the three tab-handled cups—exhibit a strong, bright neon green fluorescence, confirming the presence of uranium in the glass batch. The Fire-King batter bowl is non-reactive under UV light.

The collection is in good vintage condition showing signs of age and domestic use. Visible surface soil and light scuffing are present, particularly on the contact points of the bases. The glass displays characteristic manufacturing traits of the era, including internal swirls, streaks, and cooling lines inherent to the Jadeite production process. No major chips or cracks are observed.
