Description

A collection of multiple mid-century modern stoneware bud vases featuring varied glaze techniques and forms. The assortment includes one cylindrical vase with a matte brown ground and a glossy abstract wash of blue, gray, and white glaze, stamped on the lower edge with Pottery Craft © USA. A globular vase features a cream-colored speckled glaze with a textured indigo blue and gray horizontal band around the shoulder and is signed Kaka on the base with the number 151. A bell-shaped vase displays a matte brown surface with cream-toned sgraffito sunburst and geometric designs, signed Hulwick on the base. The final piece is a conical vase with a dark brown ground and incised cream-colored geometric patterns, featuring an unmarked hollow base. All pieces are constructed from stoneware with varied neck and rim treatments including tiered, flared, and cup-shaped rims.

Condition report:

All pieces are in good vintage condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. Minor surface wear is present on the unglazed bases consistent with age and use. Three felt protection pads are attached to the base of the Pottery Craft vase.
