Description
This religious wall plaque features a high-relief sculpture depicting the Virgin Mary cradling the infant Jesus. Both figures are presented with circular halos. The Madonna is shown in a three-quarter profile, wearing a traditional veil and draped garments with her eyes cast downward. The Christ Child is held in her arms and features curly hair and a peaceful expression. The plaque is constructed from a heavy cast stone or concrete composite material with a textured, sandy finish. The reverse side is flat and unfinished, showing the characteristic texture of cast material, and contains an embedded metal U-shaped hanging loop for wall mounting.
